Ancient Celtic N. Nordic Alphabet

I created the ANCIENT NORTH CELTIC ALPHABET series of acrylic paintings in late 2023, when I was 94 years old. The series was part of several series of paintings designed to express inter-group misunderstanding. It had occurred to me that such misunderstanding could be represented in paintings that present unintelligible texts. In the case of the ANCIENT NORTH CELTIC ALPHABET series, I was also fascinated by the shapes of this ancient alphabet, which included no curved lines but rather only straight horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. The script presented here may be regarded as the "national" script of the ancient North Germanic tribes. I used the ancient art of stenciling to create the series.
